Steve is the Founder of Cross the Lines, a non-profit organization focused on uniting and serving faith-focused organizations dealing with the challenges of toxic polarization and racial divides in America’s Christian faith institutions. He has held a variety of leadership positions across a diverse array of leading non-profits from pastor in one of America's largest Churches (Willow Creek Community Church) to overseeing faith outreach in support of US/international development as Vice President of World Vision US. Steve is best known for his sustainable innovations, ideation and creative communications in creating engagement pathways in advocating for the poor and marginalized here and globally. Steve makes his home in Tacoma WA with his wife Sevil. He has three grown children and two grandchildren.
