Haley Byrd Wilt
Content and Community Advisor
Haley Byrd Wilt is a writer and editor based in the D.C. area. She spent nine years reporting on the U.S. Congress before joining CCPL to assist with community and content advising. While covering the Hill, Haley often reported on human rights policy and foreign relations. Haley’s work has been published in Christianity Today, the New York Times, and Foreign Policy, among others. Her time in journalism coincided with two presidential impeachments, one global pandemic, an attempted insurrection, and many, many lawmaker retirements. (Haley is still tired.) She was a 2024 CCPL Public Life Fellow, a life-giving experience for which she will forever be grateful. When she’s not working on the Morning Five or spending time with her kids, she’s probably reading Kierkegaard.
