Executive Assistant and Office Coordinator (Part-Time)

Preference for candidates in Baltimore, Maryland or the Washington, D.C. metro area
About the Role
The Center for Christianity and Public Life (CCPL) is seeking a part-time Executive Assistant and Office Coordinator to support the President and CEO (Michael Wear) and provide essential operational and compliance support to a growing nonprofit organization.
CCPL is a nonpartisan institution based in Washington, D.C., committed to renewing public life through a Christian imagination. We advance this mission through two parallel streams of work: Public Imagination, which explains Christianity to the public and advances Christian resources for the good of the public; and Christian Civic Formation, which grows, resources, convenes, and represents Christians who believe spiritual formation is essential to civic renewal.
This role is primarily focused on direct executive support to the President, while also dedicating a portion of time to nonprofit compliance, employee benefits administration, and office coordination. The ideal candidate is highly organized, discreet, trustworthy, and capable of providing calm, consistent support in a dynamic nonprofit environment.
This position works closely with the President and the Chief of Staff and plays a quiet but critical role in ensuring the organization’s administrative health and leadership effectiveness.
All staff are essential contributors to the life, health, and spiritual vitality of the CCPL team, its board, and its broader community.
