Christopher Gow is a Research Fellow at the Center for Christianity and Public Life, where he contributes to its Public Imagination work, exploring how the resources of the Christian tradition inform faithful public life.

His interests center on Christian moral formation—how communities of faith form people to live wisely and well—and how that formation bears on a public undergoing rapid technological and cultural change, from questions of human flourishing to public justice to artificial intelligence and emerging technologies.

Before his graduate studies, Christopher worked in campus ministry at Amherst College, where he had earned a B.A. in religion and mathematics. He holds an M.Div. from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and a PhD in New Testament from Wheaton College, where his dissertation, Rewriting Power: Scripture and Ethics in John's Gospel, examined the use of scripture for constructing the ethics of power in the Gospel of John.

He lives in Takoma Park, Maryland, with his wife, Katie, and their child.
