Brian Schutt

Brian Schutt is the first Director of the Office of Entrepreneurship and Innovation for the State of Indiana. Before this role, he was a two-time founder, advisor, and investor, passionate about entrepreneurship’s role in building vibrant communities. He co-founded Homesense Heating and Cooling, and Refinery46 a coworking space focused on trades. He has coached hundreds of entrepreneurs, was previously a Civic Renewal Fellow with the American Enterprise Institute, and is a member of the Indianapolis Praxis Guild. Brian serves on multiple boards, and is a contributor to the Indianapolis Business Journal. He lives in Carmel, Indiana, with his wife: Tiffany, three children: Parker, Emerson, and Sophie, and dog: Buckley.
